Unlike agents, we act as your internal hiring team to offer speed, efficiency and visibility. You get access to the entire talent pool with scripts so you get predictable response rate and timeline. This leads to quicker results for a quarter of the price.
We charge per position, not per hire. You pay for a one month campaign and a mapping of the entire market for 1 type of role. You can reach out to as many candidates as you want and make several hires for the same price.
This doesn't increase price. The search and talent pool is the same, and you can reach out to as many candidates as you want. Using us for roles with more than one headcount makes your cost per hire extremely low!
Agents in Japan usually charge at least 30% of the candidate’s yearly compensation. For a mid-level role around ¥7M, this means a fee of ¥2.1M per hire. We charge ¥300,000 for a talent pool that should yield at least 1 hire. In this example, this makes your cost 7x lower.
The key deliverable is the entire talent pool for 1 position, in the form of a tracker. The campaign also includes 3 meetings, outreach templates, job description writing, and continuous support for 1 month.
Our key area of expertise is bilingual tech talent (both technical and business roles). Our team is trained on the specificities of each role profile, and our internal tools allow us to find all suitable candidates.
Sourcing passive candidates is our speciality. Japan has a candidate-driven job market, which means posting jobs often doesn’t get you the results you seek. We focus on mapping the entire human resource and have a systematic outreach system with tried and tested scripts to maximize response rates.
You will receive the entire talent mapping at once, within approx. one week. On LinkedIn, most candidates respond within 2 weeks, which means your interview pipeline should be finalized by the end of the campaign.
We promise to map at least 500 candidates per role (sometimes up to 1,000, depending on the talent pool). This is enough for you to make at least 1 hire by following our outreach process. If you have a very specific niche position that corresponds to a very small talent pool, we will let you know ahead of time so that you can make an informed decision.
Our campaign focuses on generating candidates for your hiring process, and we found that 4 weeks is the ideal timeline. This gives enough time to map all relevant talent, reach out, and wait for interested candidates to reply.
We use LinkedIn almost exclusively because it is the best database of candidates for bilingual and tech talent, even in Japan.
We handle the sourcing and you do the outreach. We will provide templates based on past response rates and coordinate outreach with you and/or your team. Here’s a secret recruitment agents don’t want you to know: their response rates are lower than yours. Candidates are much more likely to respond to messages when they come directly from the CEO or the Hiring Manager than from an external recruiter. Agents still want to handle the outreach because they can introduce the same candidate to other clients. With us, it’s different: we don’t register candidates in our database or get paid for introductions, and we can focus 100% on getting you results.
